Health Advocate for Pediatric Liver Transplantation

Liver transplantation in children is a complex, chronic condition requiring ongoing management across the course of their lives. Families face unique challenges post liver-transplant that can ulitimately have an affect on their overall health outcome. To address the unique needs that families face, we have developed a health advocate for pediatric liver transplantation that will be assisting participants that are enrolled into the HEAL-Tx study for a course of 90-days. Through the course of the 90-day intervention, the health advocate will taylor their intervention to the families needs.

This website will provide a variety of tools that will help guide the health advocate's intervention.
